Asian Art Hong Kong has kindly invited members of the Friends of the Art Museum to “The Cycle of Collecting Art”, a talk by Frederick Gordon at Art Central on Tuesday March 21st.  During this event, which is offered exclusively to our members and their guest,  Mr Gordon will give us a short lecture followed by a tour of selected exhibits at Art Central.

Mr Gordon is a collector of Chinese modern and contemporary art with a focus on ink painting. Included in his collection are works by artists such as Fung Ming Chip, Fong Chung-Ray and Zheng Chongbin, amongst other.  In this event, Mr Gordon will share his experience with collecting art, from what started his interest to how to form a cohesive collection and how to pick the right artists.

If you have started your own collection or are considering starting a collection, or you are simply interested in the world of art in general, come learn from the experiences of an expert!

We will be meeting in the recption area at Art Central, more detailed instructions will be provided to registrants prior to the event.

Please note:  We have arranged for complimentary admission to Art Central for members who will be attending this event.
