Latitude 22N is a Hong Kong based ceramic design studio established in 2008 by designer and artist duo Julie Progin and Jesse Mc Lin.

Named Latitude to reflect on the diverse backgrounds of the founders and of their collaborative partners, and 22N for the latitude of Hong Kong, they create a range of contemporary and creative porcelain tableware, accessories and lighting under their brand name Latitude 22N, very unique limited edition and experimental ceramic pieces under their label Julie & Jesse as well as bespoke designs.

At their Chai Wan studio and gallery the creative duo design and produce some of their wares and present their work and that of other artist and designers in the gallery space and showroom. They also have a production studio in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China, where most of their work comes to life.

Julie Progin and Jesse Mc Lin will open their studio for a presentation about their work in Jingdezhen and Hong Kang, followed by a tour of their studio and workshop.

Latitude 22N is currently hosting a wonderful exhibit entitled “The Spatial Odyssey Back in Times” featuring the photography of the Marc Progrin. Marc has spent over 10 years travelling in Mongolia capturing the space, light and liberty of this harsh but extraordinarily beautiful land.

Guests will then have the pleasure of enjoying an optional lunch at the studio.  Come join us for this unique insiders look into the world of porcelain and contemporary ceramic art.
