We have arranged for a guided tour of the sculpture at Art Basel led by Meg Maggio of Pekin Fine Arts who is the Public Relations & Marketing Chair of the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association.
Meg is very passionate about sculpture. For many years she has supported several sculptors at Art Basel and also through shows at her gallery, Pekin Fine Arts in Beijing and Hong Kong. The recent opening of the Sculpture Park in Hong Kong highlights the significance of sculpture in today’s art world. Meg will walk us through the important, not to missed sculptural pieces at the fair and hold a Q&A session at the end of the tour.
Meg established Pekin Fine Arts, a Beijing based private consultancy and art gallery in November 2005. With over 600 square meters of exhibition space designed by Beijing –based Artist/architect Ai Weiwei, Pekin Fine Arts strives to represent and to promote the best and most innovative contemporary artists from Asia. Her Hong Kong gallery, Pekin Fine Art (Hong Kong ) is located in the vibrant Wong Chuk Hang district.
Meg has been an active member of the Hong Kong art community for several years. She currently holds the position of Public Relations & Marketing chair for the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association.
