STUDY GROUP SPRING 2021

STUDY GROUP SPRING 2021

We have chosen MACAU as our topic for the 2021 Spring Study Group which we hope to start in mid-February. As a “taster” of what is in store for members of the group, we list below the subjects on which members have chosen to make a presentation. In no particular order they are:

Macanese People, the Bela Vista, the Life and Times of George Smirnoff, the Jesuits and the Mater Dei, George Chinnery, Macau in the Republican Era, Macau’s Foreign Trade in the Ming, Stanley Ho and the Shaping of the City, World artists of Macau and The Cuisine of Macau.

There is still time to join us and enjoy what we believe will be an informative and enjoyable chance to listen and learn with an enthusiastic band of amateurs. The topic is wide so that there are many choices for you make a presentation on anything connected with Macau.
