For many years, The Friends were privileged to have space for a small library within the Art Museum’s Archive Library. Unfortunately, due to space constraints, this is no longer possible. However, Friends members are welcome to browse the Museum Archive Library during office hours. The museum reception desk can provide our members with a magnetic card for access on request.
In addition, the CUHK University Library is pleased to offer a subscription based library membership to Friends members. Friends members are exempted from providing supporting documents when they apply for library membership. Members may apply for a reader’s card, enabling the bearer to access all the libraries of the CUHK Library and use the resources and facilities inside the Libraries. For an additional charge, our members may purchase a Borrower’s Card that also enables the bearer to borrow up to three books from the Library for 14 days at any one time. Members must obtain a letter of introduction from the Friends confirming their membership to accompany their application.
